Leaving medical visits with unanswered questions?

You deserve to be heard, to ask all of your questions, and to truly understand your care.

When you leave a visit without the chance to ask questions or get clarification in plain English, your chance of the best health outcomes — for yourself or for a loved one — is diminished. Mālama Nurse Consultants gives you the time, and the opportunity, to comfortably ask every question you did not get to ask at your visit. All of your questions matter.

WHAT

The health issues and diagnoses — and what treatment your provider recommended.

HOW

How to follow through on advised treatment, and how to recognize when there may be a need for further medical evaluation.

WHY

The bigger picture: why your recommended plan of care matters.

Family & Caregivers

Family members and caregivers are welcome to join and ask their questions, too.

Founder, Mālama Nurse Consultants

Brigitta has worked as a registered nurse since 2011 — and as a board-certified family nurse practitioner* since 2014 — in multiple states. In hospital and outpatient clinic settings, she has seen first-hand how the limited time allotted to most patient visits leads to frustration, dissatisfaction with healthcare experiences, and, most importantly, worse health outcomes.

Her focus in practice has always been patient education: giving patients, their families, and their caregivers a solid foundation of understanding on the journey to their best health.

mālama — to take care of, tend, attend, preserve, protect, maintain.

Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, Brigitta believes mālama expresses the core value of stewardship and responsibility that healthcare should have to its patients, their family members, and the community.
